We're a mostly-anime club that usually meets in the Pasadena area Friday and Saturday evenings. Currently we're doing hybrid showings, both in-person for fully COVID-vaccinated folks at members' homes, and online via our Discord server. Our showings usually run 6:30 - 10:30 Pacific Time.
Hey, look - a schedule! We're going to end up with a few episodes of breathing room, which allows us to go through shows where we're listed as starting with episode 2+ and ask "should we go back and re-watch episode 1?" (especially because a new member has joined us since we sampled a bunch of the shows we voted onto our Fall schedule).
This week, David expects to be joining us both late and remotely. That means not only that this Saturday’s showings will be at Guy’s place instead of David’s, but also that we can lead each night leaning on shows he didn't vote for (or maybe just episodes he's already seen). That's why this Friday we start with our one schedule feature for the season, and our Saturday schedule is sort of reversed from its normal order. We can also afford to displace some samplers as needed to re-watch first episodes, especially this first weekend.
